Ict Reflection

            Our last  grading period had ended. This is now the last grading period and I’m happy with it.

       In this subject, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned about photoshop that can help me in the future. We also made another blog posts. It also helps me to enhance more about computers.

      In this grading period it helps me a lot and also I hope it will continue till last.

Kannawidan Festival

“Kannawidan sangsangkamaysatay a rambakan.”

          Have you ever been to the province of Ilocos Sur and be a part of its Kannawidan Festival? If not, then try to visit the heart of Ilocos Sur, Vigan, where the celebration takes place every after Vigan City Fiesta, usually on the first week of February.

            This year, Ilocos Sur celebrates its fourth Kannawidan Festival and the 193rd founding anniversary, from January 31 to February 8. The festival features the rich culture of the province. It also showcases the different agriculture and industry products by the different municipalities through its trade fair. There were also various contests participated by men and women. Invited artists of major TV networks were scheduled each night in their appearance and shows. The highlight of this festival was the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur, a pageant contest, with candidates coming from the different towns of Ilocos Sur.

         The festivity aims to preserve the province' rich cultural heritage. It is also a way Ilocos Sur be known by tourists and Filipinos for them to visit the province. Ilocanos are in their way towards productivity and economic upturn.

My Dream My Future

 My Dream My Future

   When I was a child, my teachers and parents said to me, ‘people who have no dreams of the future will not fly far away’. Because of those inspiring words from my parents and teachers, I tried to make inspired by to be a chef.

        I am studying the simple cooks first and next started a complex type of cooking. I can improve my cooking skill by just trying to start cooking something small like fried rice ect. I want to study how to cook properly and hygiene management  and try to apply it

          In the future I want to be a famous chef as I can cook many delicious dishes for my family and my friends and they are very happy to eat my cooking. On the other hand, I would like to be a computer expert that can fix and repair computers like an expert. Also I would like to open up a computer service shop in the future. I like my dreams because now days technologies are getting tougher and later on only some people that can fix computer technologies in the future. That’s why I try to catch up to study the technologies now days so in the future I might help people who is in need of a computer expert. I will also try to stay on my studies now so I can still graduate on high school. I still don’t know which one I should choose to my future but I choose to be an computer expert still cause I like to break things up to see what’s in it cause I’m always curious what drives that thing to make it work for example the programs for a laptop. Sometimes when I open up a electronic , I can’t reassemble them again so I studied first from my cousin who opened up a computer shop in bogor. Sometimes I followed him to the shop so I can see what is in the computers disk are like , and I also like to help him to repair a CPU cause I’m curious remember. I try to fix it with my cousin watching my every step I’m doing , if I do something wrong he will ask me to stop and he will explain to me how to do it.

      I will try my best to do my dream job in the future, and if I fail or I have problems with my studies, I will keep on dreaming to overcome the problem and keep believing I will have a good life in the future.

NEW YEAR

New Year is a time when many people around the world make promises however; many of the promises made by people are rarely completed. I plan to recycle and improve my grade.

         My resolution of the New Year is to get better in school especially in ICT class because that’s the hardest subject i have. I want to pass all of my test grades in ICT, do all homework and do better in everything, such as projects, tests, homework, class work and my behavior in class.

          My past experiences have taught me that hoping and dreams are useless waste of energy for they usually do not come true of the target.

           For that I resolved to spend less time talking and more time doing. The past year had I spent so much time gossiping and talking nonsense. There are many assignments to be done so it is action time.

I have to spend less time in front of the television set and the computer. There are fun things but they are also very time consuming. The time is better spent with in my books.

Reflection

       2014 had ended another grading period will come. This is now our last grading period and I’m happy with it.

Climate Change

      Nowadays climate change is the biggest problem of the human being. It is already happening and represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet.

      The climate can affect every person and our health directly through increases in temperature. Such increases may lead to more extreme heat waves during the summer while producing less extreme cold spells during the winter. Particular segments of the population such as those with heart problems, asthma, the elderly, and the very young can be especially vulnerable to extreme heat. There can be extreme floods and droughts, hurricanes.

      The climate is a very important thing and if we don’t stop the changes soon, more and more plants and trees are going to die, we won’t have enough food and then not only will the third world countries suffer from hunger but so will the whole world. I think it is better to first stop the changes in climate and then gradually reduce the hunger in the poor countries. Because if we stop the changes, we are going to be healthier and everything around us will be cleaner and it will be how it actually should be. I believe harmony between nature and human beings will return.

Essence of Christmas

Essence of Christmas

          'Christmas' is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Jesus. It is celebrated on 25th December every year. It is the most important festivals of the Christians. Christmas Day is celebrated as a major festival and public holiday in countries around the world. 

        On this occasion great preparations are made by the Christians. All houses and churches are cleaned and white washed. The Christmas tree is decorated with artificial stars, lights, toys etc. on this day. At night candles and electric bulbs are lighted on its twigs. 

         Santa Claus and other seasonal figures are held on this day. Any person disguised as Santa Claus distributes sweets among the children. Family reunions and the exchange of gifts is a widespread feature of the season. Cakes and puddings are set. Children get dressed in new clothes. Prayers are offered in churches.
